The nude is a classic subject for photography and is the base of boudoir, swimsuit and fine art image making. How can you make your images stand out? Jennifer (Zivolich) Emery will walk you through lighting techniques that sculpt and flatter all body types. She will also cover posing and composition concepts that will trigger your creativity and lead you in exciting new directions with concept based photography. A model, lighting equipment and radio slaves will be provided.
Students will learn to light with different kinds of modifiers and soft-boxes, using single and multiple strobes to create dynamic light sculpting, in a hands-on learning environment.
*This class is open to most levels but students should have good working knowledge of the basic functions of their camera shutter speeds and f/stops, and bring their own DSLR and lenses.
