Interfit’s engineers have been hard at work to bring S1 users two new critical firmware updates. The first update resolves a compatibility issue with certain Sony cameras caused by a Sony-issued firmware update. The second update adds compatibility with the Canon 1DX Mark II.
Sony Bug Fix:
Recently, Sony released a firmware update for their A7R2 Mirrorless Camera. Among other things, this firmware update (3.30) added support for Sony’s new Radio Controlled Lighting System. This update changed the way the camera communicates through the hotshoe, creating compatibility issues with the S1 Sony Remote. Interfit’s engineers have completed a firmware update to the S1 Sony Remote that resolves this compatibility issue.
